The sculpture park comprises more than 200 sculptures in granite, bronze, and wrought iron, and is the result of over 40 years of work. The park was primarily constructed between 1940 and 1949 and today stands as one of Norway’s most renowned sculptural environments.
This guided tour offers an introduction to the history of the Vigeland Park and insight into how the project developed from its earliest plans into the park we know today.
