At Kalbakken, a brand-new artwork has now been installed – “Alba” by Are Mokkelbost. OKK invites you to the unveiling.

Mokkelbost has created a piece where aesthetics and function meet in the form of a seating sculpture. In the design of “Alba”, Mokkelbost combines organic shapes with practical functionality, creating an inclusive meeting place for children and young people in the area. Drawing inspiration from the area’s history, architecture, and materials, “Alba” consists of stone in various treatments, from boulders and reused stone from the City of Oslo, to cast concrete and porcelain.
