This coming Sunday from 12:00–16:00, you can meet Anne Karine Thorbjørnsen at her exhibition “Nonsensical Dreamers.” Drapery plays a central role in Thorbjørnsen’s artistic practice. With an ambiguous reading, the drapery is both visually linked to outdated ideals, status, and excess, while also holding an aesthetic and social value—as a philosophical landscape in motion that influences how people meet and relate to one another.
This weekend, there will also be a 10/10 flea market and the Bingen book market in the courtyard at Salgshallen, with sveler (Norwegian pancakes), buns, and coffee being served. In the café (currently under construction), you’ll also find the last remaining items from the Waste Yarn Projects sample sale!
