How can certain materials carry stories of lives, memories and global connections? To mark the final week of the exhibition 'Relics and Warnings', artist Sampson Addae meets his former professor Pedro Gómez-Egaña in conversation.
Addae works at the intersection of sculpture, textile, and installation, often using discarded clothing as material. His practice explores connections between personal experience and global structures, addressing themes such as migration, belonging, and consumer culture.
The conversation highlights these perspectives within Addae’s work and places them in dialogue with Gómez-Egaña’s practice as an artist and educator.
The event is free and open to all.
