Grafikk Oslo highlights Norway’s strong printmaking tradition at a time when many workshops are closing and the field is undergoing change. Printmaking has long been both an entry point to art for many and a driving force in the development of new artistic expressions, political activism, and public art. The gallery works with a broad range of printmaking, focusing on the postwar generation and key contemporary artists, while also maintaining a clear international outlook.
Kunstatelieret in Copenhagen, formerly Per Kirkeby’s primary serigraphy studio, is a key collaborator. Together we offer a rich selection of prints to private collectors, companies, and art clubs, and develop new editions in close collaboration with the artists connected to the gallery.
